OUR FACILITIES
Club House and Grounds
Our grass pitches are generally very over used, our main cricket ground & football pitches are sometimes available for matches, particularly for our friends in the local community. We have some light use from softball teams and the local dog training club.
Our Artificial Grass Pitch [AGP] is shown below.
We have two netball courts available to hire.
Members wishing to hire the facilities for team games within their section should go through their grounds committee representative. (see Club Structure)
NB. You must be an organised team with your own sports insurance to play on any of our facilites. Evidence of your insurance is required prior to booking.

Our Club House and licensed bar is generally heavily used by our members, but on special occasions we may make it available to our friends in the local community.
Battersea Ironsides Sports Operations Limited are responsible for all operations at our premises.
All section and third party bookings are subject to the Club Regulations which are available as our Terms and Conditions below.
ARTIFICIAL GRASS PITCH [AGP]
Our new (2018) beautiful rugby capable 60m x 37m All Weather deep pile 4G Pitch [AWS] is available to hire.
Available as a whole pitch or in 3 x 5 a side fields. Have a look at availability on the Calendar, then drop us an enquiry.
Long term bookings are particularly welcome. Early morning before 11am, Late afternoon 5ish and weekend afternoons are the most available.
You must be an organised team with your own insurance to play, generally only rugby and football are approved on this pitch type.

ABSOLUTELY No BLADES and No Astros - Studded boots MUST be worn on the pitch by players, coaches and referees. They MUST have round and unworn studs. Flat shoes squash the grass and compact the surface and cause wear.

Anyone found in incorrect footwear on the AGP or with food will be banned from the club for a significant period.
We have to save £10,000 per year to replace the artificial grass, please help us to keep it beautiful for as long as possible.
